What can one say! Friday 24th April 2009 was the beginning of our venture in to the world of car clubbing. Expectations were minimal for our first meet, maybe 10 or 12 cars would show, nothing special.
WAS I WRONG!
The car park was full, full of dubbers all driving their pride and joys. We easily doubled our expectations on the night which was a fantastic sight.
One of the best things that I saw on the night were the people, there was families, young couples, old(er) couples, fathers and sons and I'm sure there was many other combinations.
I would like to thank all concerned who organised this meet and to those who turned up. Without you we would not be in a position to say "See you at our next Dodgy Dubbers meet".

We began as a handful of VW owners in early 2009 who felt the need to organise for our mutual support and benefit - to "help the VW owner enjoy their car to the fullest". Since then, we have started to grow, recruiting VW enthusiast from local rural communities, neighbouring towns and surrounding counties. The original idea to set-up a VW club in East Anglia was at an executive luncheon meeting (couple of mates having a drink at their local pub).
All members are welcome, from teenagers to retirees, individual to families. In short, we are owners and drivers, neither supporters nor critics, with collectively hundreds of years of experience to share with each other.
Local meets and rallies including charity fundraising will be a feature on a regular bases for all members and non members to attend.
